Kenny Edenfield Troy Offensive Coordinator

The Troy Trojans have been mighty competitive as of late, even against the top teams in the nation.

Edenfield is a big reason why.

His offense has led the Sun Belt in passing yards in four of the last eight years, cracking the top 16 in the nation in each of those seasons. The Trojans have been in the top 20 in total offense twice during his eight seasons as offensive coordinator.

In 2014, Edenfield’s quarterback – freshman Brandon Silvers – completed 70.5 percent of his passes, breaking an NCAA record. In 2013, Corey Robinson became the fifth player in NCAA history to throw for over 3,000 yards in four different seasons.

Endenfield’s offense accumulated 1,293 in just two games in 2012 – against Tennessee and Mississippi State no less.

The point is this: Troy doesn’t just beat up on lesser opponents. The Trojans bring it regardless of who they’re playing.

Might work pretty well with being an Independent.
