Jay Hill, Weber State Head Coach

This one may be a long shot. Hill, after what he’s done with Weber State, will likely have more lucrative options on the table.

But it’s worth noting he’d be a huge get for BYU football (or any other program).

Hill has worked with Urban Meyer, Kyle Whittingham, Gary Andersen, Dennis Erickson… and Kalani Sitake.

A defensive back for Ron McBride’s Utes, Hill coached on the defensive side of the ball under Sitake and Andersen, but worked on offense with Erickson. He also coached Utah’s special teams unit.

In short, he’s got a boatload of experience.

After starting 0-9 at Weber State, Hill’s gone 24-13 since. Currently, the Wildcats are 10-2 overall, ranked No. 8 in the FCS Coaches Poll and are taking on No. 12 Southern Utah in the FCS playoffs.

Not too shabby.
