BYU Basketball: Reviewing a rollercoaster 2017-18 season

The Comeback
One WCC game deserves its own look. That game took place in the Marriott Center on February 10.
A streaking San Francisco squad came to Provo looking to avenge their earlier loss to the Cougars in California.
And it was a memorable one. Neither team could gain an advantage throughout, until the Dons took over late. They opened up a seven-point lead with just over three minutes to play, and that lead was still six with 30 seconds left to play.
Plenty of fans had already headed for the exit.
Then came the comeback:
- Jimbo Lull of the Dons missed two free throws, keeping the lead within two scores.
- Yoeli Childs hit a jumper with 21 seconds left, bringing the score to 63-59.
- Elijah Bryant stole the ball on the ensuing inbound, finding Jashire Hardnett for the basket and the foul. The made free throw made it 63-62.
- Souley Boom of San Francisco snuck past the back end of the Cougar defense taking it in for an easy score, making it 65-62 with 11 seconds left.
- With just four seconds to play, Elijah Bryant drilled a three pointer, tying the game and sending it into overtime after the Dons missed their last-second heave.
TJ haws took over in the extra time, scoring eight overtime points to help the Cougars cap off the comeback 75-73.
While it wasn’t the biggest win for the Cougars by any stretch, it’s one of the more memorable ones.
