In his final NBA Summer League game, Elijah Bryant showed a well-rounded game in Philadelphia’s quarterfinal loss to Memphis.

For a second straight game, Elijah Bryant got decent playing time, and he managed to leave his mark in a losing effort.

The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 82-73 in the NBA Summer League quarterfinals, ending their summer league run.

Elijah Bryant saw 14 minutes of action in the loss, scoring 3 points on 1 for 3 shooting. He also pulled down 5 rebounds and dished out 2 assists.

More importantly, the 76ers outscored the Grizzlies by nine points when Bryant was on the court. He was only four Philadelphia players to have net positive time on the court.

It was the second straight night that the 76ers gave Bryant extended minutes. On Saturday night, the former Cougar scored 8 points in 15 minutes, adding 2 steals on defense.

Before this weekend, Bryant saw very little time on the court. In the first four summer league games, he didn’t play in two of them, and in the other two he got in for the last three minutes of the game.

With his summer league play over, now the waiting game begins for Bryant. He’ll hope to hear from an NBA team, Philadelphia or otherwise, about a contract.

His best-case scenario would probably be a two-way deal with an organization. More likely would be a G-League deal, like the one Kyle Collinsworth signed in 2016 with the Texas Legends.

If Bryant can make a G-League roster, he’ll be able to stay on the NBA radar, and an impressive run there could be a stepping-stone onto the big stage.

Bryant’s other option would be to head overseas. He’d make more money across the sea, but his NBA chances would shrink.

Either way, the decision is now looming as his summer league time comes to a close.
