With the time and TV now set for BYU Football’s November 17th home game against New Mexico State, it sets up a home triple-header for Cougar sports.

BYU sports fans will have the chance to enjoy more than their fair share of live Cougar sports on Saturday, November 17th, as three BYU teams will effectively create a home triple-header.

On Monday the Cougars announced on social media that the time and TV has been set for BYU Football, which allowed the other schedules to fall into place:

The football team will cap off the full day of sports, kicking off against New Mexico State at 8:15pm MT at LaVell Edwards Stadium. It’ll be televised on ESPN2, making it the fifth game of the season on that channel and the eighth on an ESPN network channel (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU).

On the plus side, it’s another nationally televised game.

On the negative side, a mid-November night game in Provo isn’t likely to be the warmest experience.

With football playing the nightcap, BYU Men’s Basketball is now slotted to host Alabama A&M at 4:00pm MT in the Marriott Center, with the game televised on BYUtv.

It’ll be the fourth game in a six-game homestand for the Cougars, and the fourth consecutive game broadcast on BYUtv. It’s also the first game of the Men Against Breast Cancer Cougar Cup.

And for the fans who want to fill their day with Cougar sports, BYU Women’s Basketball will play the first game of the triple-header, hosting Eastern Washington at 1:00pm MT. That game can be seen online as well on TheW.tv.

Diehard Cougar fans can enjoy nearly a complete day of live BYU Sports. Just watch both basketball teams play back-to-back, then grab dinner and head across the street to see BYU Football (hopefully) play for their bowl-eligibility-clinching win.
