Other Players:

There are quite a few older players who could be possibly wanting to join this team if given the opportunity, but these players are probably past their playing days.

Max Hall: If you have seen pictures of Max Hall lately he is looking like he is ready to run some people over and throw the ball 100 yards+. He did not have the NFL career he wanted and this could provide him a positive note to leave the game with. He is older, but he is in shape and doing quarterback camps around the west, so why not?

Riley Nelson: When I think of alternative leagues to the NFL, I think of players like Riley Nelson. Fighters who love the game who weren’t good enough for the NFL but they can play and make plays. Nelson was the kind of player that every play you were worried about him throwing an INT, but you also felt like he could spin out of three tackles and make a fade away throw to the back of the endzone and then go and high five the referee. He was a fun player and there is no doubt that Cougar fans would love to watch him play.

John Beck: He is 37 years old and probably so far in his career outside of playing football that he wouldn’t ever want to train again to play competitively, but there are some quarterbacks in the NFL who are older and are still playing strong. This is a long shot, but it is hard to keep the QB who threw for over ten thousand yards in his career off of this list.

Who would you like to see under center for the Stallions? Would you be more likely to watch if a former BYU quarterback was throwing passes?
