The Oscars is the most viewed Awards show of the year and we thought it would be fun to give out our own awards to BYU athletes, but we need help.

I am not the biggest fan of award shows, however there is one that seems to always catch my attention, and that is the Oscars. With the Oscars being given out this weekend, we thought it would be fun to give some awards to deserving athletes and coaches based off of the last year’s performance. But we need your help!

Each of these will have a list of candidates that will be voted by none other than you the fans. So follow us on Twitter (Lawless Republic) and vote to have your input on who and what were really the best of BYU sports the last year!

We ask that you vote for the actual most deserving athlete/coach of these awards rather than just your favorite per say as to avoid just BYU Football or Basketball players.

The voting will go on until Sunday February 24th at 3:30 MST. Be sure to come back on Monday morning to see the full results! Thanks for being part of our story!
