BYU Football: Five teams that Sione Takitaki may be drafted by

4. Dallas Cowboys

Yes, America’s team. The Cowboy’s are probably the best linebacker team in the nation having Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith ranked in the top seven in tackles in the nation. The Cowboy’s will not be looking for another linebacker in the first few rounds, but if Takitaki is still available late in the fourth or fifth round do not be surprised if they decide to take another player in the position that they take so much pride in.

Another reason why the Cowboys may take Sione Takitaki is for the kind of player that he is. Yes their linebackers are in top seven in overall tackles, however they only had eight combined tackles for loss last season and Vander Esch is more of a pass coverage linebacker with a career 20 pass deflections and five interceptions in only one season as a main starter.
