It is easy to focus on the players who are already known to be impact players for BYU Football, but what about the players under the radar?

We know who the stars are for BYU Football. The playmakers, the guys who are going to step up each game, each snap. But who are the guys that nobody is really talking about right now who could have an impact?

Last season, some of the guys who made a surprise impact on offense could be guys like Lopini Katoa or James Empey, freshman who stole the show and made an immediate impact for the Cougars. On defense, Austin Lee could be considered a guy that stepped up when the team needed it as well as Isaiah Kaufusi.

Miss out on the new Jimmer Fredette documentary, ‘The Lonely Master,’ over the weekend? Stream it on demand now on BYUtv.

Let’s pick one guy on the offensive side of the ball, one on the defensive side and one on special teams. While there could be many players who take a big step, there is one from each side of the ball that I believe could be a huge impact player in 2019.
