We are 99 days until Utah and BYU kickoff the first game of the season.

Double digits. We are in the double digits as far as days until college football and when the Utes and Cougars will duel in the Holy War.

Getting into double digits kind of feels like finally being a senior in high school where for three years you have been going to school and it never felt like you would make it and yet there you are. The problem is, we still got senior year to get through and that can be the longest year unless you stay busy.

To help stay busy, every day until kickoff we will be counting down the Top 100 players in BYU history. If you missed the rules of how this is going to work or why players are receiving D’s and still being ranked as an all-time great be sure to check out our first player, John Denney.

Today’s athlete features a player that if you were born in the 1970’s or later you probably have not heard of, but his unique stats and one memorable game are what puts him as the 99th best ranked player at BYU of all time.
