We are one day closer to BYU Football opening up their season against Utah.
97 days away. The days are coming slow but coming nonetheless. I remember watching a BYU Sports Nation and seeing the “Countdown to the Utes” and it being in the 220’s and thinking, “wow that is never going to arrive”. There is still a long time but in a few days the countdown will be getting some distance from the 100’s.
Today on our BYU Football Countdown we will be featuring another player that is more well known to today’s fan. Our first few players have primarily featured players that played in the 1960’s/70’s or played positions that most fans don’t pay attention to such as long snapper.
Today we feature our second quarterback on our list. The first one, Eldon Fortie, we nicknamed the “Interception King” because he threw for 24 interceptions while at BYU but made up for it with his running ability.
