BYU Football begins in 90 days, a countdown that is slowly but surely making its way towards us.

While doing this countdown I have gotten a few messages asking why a certain players are featured on a certain day that just “happens” to work with the day. For example, yesterday’s article that featured Riley Nelson as an odd player that just “happened” to work well with the awkward number of 91.

While there is a bit of truth to these claims a lot of it is I preselect the player and then build a fun story around that player to relate to the number. Today is one of the few exceptions. When making this list, I actually had player 89 as who I am now putting 90 at to accommodate two players at the 90 position. Going forward however, I want it to be clear that every other player has already been preselected as a top 100 player and once I get to that date I build a story around it.

Today’s player is actually two players, and those two players are brothers who wore the same number, which yes, you guessed it, was No. 90.
