Since we were 100 days from the start of BYU Football season we have been counting down the top 100 players to ever to play for the Cougars.

A couple of days ago at the end of the the 90th best player to ever play for the Cougars I was putting down the complete list of titles of the different articles with their links. I realized that the list was beginning to get pretty long and most readers probably wouldn’t be reading the other articles.

Today we wrote about player No. 88, Trey Dye who was a special teams specialist in the return game. At the end of the article there was no link to the other players as there have been in the other players featured because of this article that will feature all of the players we have covered to this point.

To this point we have featured:

  • One Long snapper
  • One Kicker
  • One Kick returner
  • Three Quarterbacks
  • One Receiver
  • One Tight end
  • Two Defensive backs
  • Two Defensive ends
  • One Offensive linemen
  • One Running back

Each of these players have done great things for the Cougars and have earned the recognition of being one of the best 100 players of all time. Without any further to do, we will begin our recap with player 89.
