No. 10 Gymnastics

Record: 6-7

Highest Ranking: 14

Postseason: Fourth place in NCAA Regionals

Gymnastics had what could be argued as the best season ever for BYU. The gymnastics team has never been really good living in the shadow of Utah and Southern Utah but this year they came out and competed well with them finishing just fractions of a point behind both teams in competition and even beating the Flipp’in Birds once.

The team started the season really well being ranked as high as 14th scoring a 197.000 against Boise State which was the best overall team score that the team had scored since 2004. Throughout the season the team was led by Shannon Evans who scored well on the all around scores but went viral on her Mario Kart themed floor routine.
