The BYU Football season is now only 63 days away from today.

The AAC versus Independence debate is starting to get interesting. Just a few days ago when the announcement came out that UConn would be leaving the AAC and there was a possibility that the AAC would be looking for a new member the unified answer from Cougar Nation was HECK NO!

Now that new reports have come out, and there are some college football experts such as Brett McMurphy and Phil Steele saying that going to the AAC may be in BYU’s best interest, the answer is now split amongst fans.

It all comes down to how sexy the AAC is for BYU. Similar to the backup quarterback on just about every team ever, once the starter shows his weakness and the reports about how good the backup start coming out, suddenly the backup becomes the favorite player on the team.

Today’s player in the BYU Football Top 100 was so good however, that fans never even wondered if the backup was the better player, at least they shouldn’t have.
