The start of BYU Football is now only 47 days away!

College Football will be live in six weeks. As we get closer to the start of the season television stations are starting to talk about it more and more which helps the time go by even quicker.

Yesterday, the full BYU roster was released with the “non numbered” players that include all of the incoming freshmen and transfers that have never put on a BYU uniform. In total there are 15 incoming freshmen, two sophomores, a junior and two seniors. These players will receive their numbers sometime in the next month after the next depth charts are released.

In total there are 115 players on the roster, with many already sharing the same number. Normally, players who are stars and fourth stringers share the same number, but there are exceptions such as Troy Warner and Zach Wilson who both share number one.

This can make retiring numbers difficult, and very special for those who reach that point to have their number retired.

Today’s player despite never having his jersey retired is a player that is definitely worth remembering for decades to come.
