BYU Football will kickoff against the Utah Utes in only 39 more days.

39 days! We are in the 30’s now! College Football is literally within reach. I live about half a mile from the local high school and last week the band started to play as I watched College Football Live on ESPN. Although the crisp cool air of fall isn’t here yet it is finally starting to feel like football season.

As we get closer, the trash talk between the Cougars and Utes will continue to only get worse and worse and it already seems to be worse than it has been in a few years. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact the BYU was leading for so long last season or that Utah has a legitimate chance of winning the Pac 12 this season so expectations are really high. Whatever it is, I put my advice to all of you as this; don’t verbally attack any players or fans in ways that it could actually cause them harm. The attack on Zach Wilson with the rumors of him being suspended was wrong and inappropriate no matter the intention.

Today’s player on the Countdown features another quarterback that led the Cougars to quite a few wins including the most ever in one season.
