BYU Football begins in only five more weeks!

We are five weeks away from the kickoff of BYU Football. Yesterday, I was thinking about all of the press and attention that the Utes are getting about winning the Pac 12 and possibly being a Playoff team. While there is no doubt that the Utes have in all honesty probably the easiest P5 schedule in the nation, to give that fan base and players those expectations, especially coming off of a bowl loss seems a bit high.

Regardless, if the Cougars are able to pull off the upset it would revive the rivalry to heights that may not have been reached in the last twenty years. The damage that it would do to the Utes fan base would make the eight in a row a complete non factor as the Utes would almost nearly for sure be eliminated from the CFP conversation.

Today’s player in the Countdown features a return man who was also a pretty good defensive back.
