No. 6 McClane Stadium – Baylor

History: 1 Point

Prestige: 1.5 Points

Rivalry/BYU History: 2 Points

Summary: McClane Stadium actually barely beat out the much smaller stadium from Georgia Southern, but the BYU connection put it over the top. McClane Stadium is one of the newer stadiums in the country, built in 2014. The stadium seats around 45,000 people which is small for the P5 level. It does get some prestige points for being a Big 12 stadium and on the Brazos River making it very scenic.

The one thing that makes this venue interesting will be the BYU connection of former Offensive Coordinator Jeff Grimes and O-line Coach Eric Mateos. Even though these two teams haven’t faced off since 1985, that connection alone will give it a small sense of rivalry.
