No. 4 Martin Stadium – Washington State

History: 2 Points

Prestige: 2 Points

Rivalry/BYU History: 1.5 Points

Summary: At the time it was built in 1972, Martin Stadium was one of the most state of the art stadiums using artificial turf. Although it has the lowest capacity of any other Pac 12 school, it is still Pac 12 and it can still get very loud. It has been home to some of the biggest Apple Cup games and is known as a “pesky” place to play in Eastern Washington.

These two teams have played each other four times in the past, but this will be the first time that these two will play in Pullman, WA. When these two teams have met, historically it has been in high pressure situations for one of the teams (1989/1990 with Ty Detmer, 2012 was Mike Leach’s first game).
