4. Playoff Conversation

Shockingly this topic did not come up very often. With the expanded playoff and the implications that it is going to have on teams all over college football, this topic came up much less than expected.

What was said about it was again by Tom Holmoe who said, “One of the things we do every year is examination our position every year…and it is our responsibility to see what the environment is like.”

In other words, it seems like BYU Football hasn’t shut the door on joining a conference or at least in being in talks with conferences, but it also doesn’t sound like there is a ton of urgency to jump at the first opportunity.

While I wasn’t expecting a big announcement, I was half wondering if there was going to be an announcement about BYU being in talks with the AAC.
