2. Jaren Hall is the starting QB except if he isn’t

For awhile now it has seemed like Jaren Hall was the favorite to be the starting quarterback next year, however to this point the coaches have been very quiet about giving any hints to why it would be Hall as opposed to Romney or Conover.

All of that changed when new Offensive Coordinator said the following about Jaren Hall while discussing the quarterbacks: “If he (Hall) is able to (stay healthy), he’s going to be tough to beat out.”

While that does not cement anything, it does put Hall in the drivers seat going into fall camp where the coaches won’t have the same freedom to split reps. In other words, it is Jaren Hall’s job to lose at this point.
