A Little Bit of Luck

Admitting that luck is any part of a teams’ success is tough to do, but it may just be enough to get BYU ranked at the end of the season.

As of right now, it is looking like BYU Football will be in games that will have an over/under of one score against Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Virginia, Baylor, and Washington State, or in other words half of the schedule. Things will pan out differently; some teams will be better than expected and others will struggle more than expected but that doesn’t change the fact there will be many games that one or two plays will determine the game.

Getting a few lucky breaks along with some well fought out wins could put BYU in a position to be ranked at the end of the season.

_________

BYU should be ranked this season as long as they stay healthy and play sound football. If they do that, I truly believe that with the way that schedule is set up, the explosive offense and a bit of luck the Cougars will finish in the Top 25 for the second year in a row.
