Big 10

Likely Ranking: 7th

Biggest Competition: Minnesota

In the Big 10 it seems like a team is either really good, or they are really bad. To give some perspective, last year, out of the 14 teams in the conference, only four finished with a winning record in conference, and those four all finished with a 6-2 record or better.

The reality is, the good teams in the Big 10 would be too much for BYU Football to handle with where the Cougars currently are. BYU would compete well with the rest of the conference likely going .500 in other games, which would result in the Cougars finishing right in the middle of the conference.

The playstyle of this conference doesn’t match well with BYU, and the Cougars would likely have to deal with injuries quite a bit. That wouldn’t stop them from finishing probably 7-5 overall and getting a decent bowl game.
