BYU Football: 5 teams BYU should schedule in the future

Louisiana

Aside from the coolest team name in the nation, The Rajin Cajuns, Louisiana would be a really fun game for the Cougars.

While there wouldn’t be a lot of connection between the two in the sense of rivalry, the recent success of Louisiana would put the game at the same level as the BYU vs Coastal Carolina game. There is a clear top tier of G5 teams and any time BYU has the chance to dismantle one like they did to UCF and Boise State last year, it is a great game.

Louisiana is the last really good G5 team that the Cougars haven’t played (Boise State, UCF, Cincinnati, Memphis, Coastal Carolina) and it would in a weird way be a revenge game for what happened in the Coastal Carolina game last season.
