BYU Football: How BYU can go undefeated in 2021

You’ve heard the phrase “He’s got a monkey on his back”? Well BYU has a silverback gorilla on theirs and if they don’t get it off this year, it will be another three years before they get another opportunity since the Utes will be taking a break in order to play Florida.
The Utes seemed to be THE TRANSFER PORTAL this year having 12 players transfer out of Utah and eight players transfer into the program. The biggest name was Baylor quarterback Charlie Brewer who will likely start although Cameron Rising will give him a good competition into Fall Camp.
The Utes are returning nine starters on offense and ten starters on defense. Even though the Utes started the season 0-2, they finished strong to finish out 3-2 with an average winning margin of 38-24.
That being said, I believe the Utes are a bit overrated because of their strong finish. Had the Utes finished with the same record but lost two out of their last three games, the narrative would be completely different.
Despite BYU losing Wilson and Milne as well as most of the defense, I think that BYU is the better team and will win in a high scoring affair.
