Utah State

Utah State will likely be the fourth or fifth best team in the state behind BYU, Utah, Weber State and maybe even Southern Utah. Utah State is not in a good place with new head coach Blake Anderson, but in year one, the Aggies should happy to finish with four wins total.

BYU is currently given a 88% to win according to FPI which in FPI terms is about as close to a slam dunk as you can get with two G5 teams playing each other. Utah State ranked 120th in defense last season, and will probably be in the 100’s again this year.

The Cougars should keep the Wagon Wheel in Provo for another year and the backups should get plenty of reps for the second week in a row.

Prediction: BYU 45 Utah State 10
