BYU Football received the commitment of Boise State QB Cade Fennegan.
BYU Football’s quarterback room has another face to it.
Cade Fennegan who played for Boise State last year and even played against the Cougars going 15 of 26 passes for 182 yards, two touchdowns and an interception has decided to join the Cougars after receiving a scholarship offer from the coaching staff.
After much consideration I have decided to enter the transfer portal. I’m excited to announce that I’ve been offered a scholarship to play at BYU and will be transferring there this fall. Thank you to @kalanifsitake and @CoachRoderick for this opportunity! Go Cougs! pic.twitter.com/aGV6Bsu3wo

While Fennegan won’t likely be any threat for Jaren Hall or Baylor Romney to start the season, his experience and talent will help the QB room and perhaps the BYU scout team.
Last season Fennegan saw the field in three games including Colorado State and Air Force, however most of his production came against the BYU when he came in for Jack Sears, who was in for starter Hank Bachmeier.
Fennegan, a two star Dallas native, was recruited by USC and Boise State. He was also a target by quite a few G5 schools including Southern Miss, North Texas, and New Mexico State according to 247 Sports.
