No. 2 Utah

Many will think that this should be the biggest make or break game of the year, but it isn’t. If we are talking about the next few years, then yes this game is make or break, but honestly if BYU loses this game they will have plenty of opportunities to bring themselves back up during the season, just as if they win they could still have their season ruined.

The emotional toll that this game will have on BYU Football will undoubtingly have an impact on the rest of the season. With a win, the Cougars likely get a confidence boost that could carry them to a win streak until at least mid October. A loss could send the Cougars in the wrong direction and be evident in games like Arizona State the next week. Starting 1-2 could end up leading to a really disappointing loss to either Utah State or South Florida.
