No. 1 Boise State

While this may come as a big surprise to everyone, Boise State will make or break BYU’s season more than any other game on the schedule. I truly believe that BYU will arrive to this game with a 4-1 record or better.

Assuming BYU Football is 4-1 and likely ranked, or at least receiving votes, a win would put the Cougars squarely in the Top 25 with an opportunity to remain there the rest of the season even with a loss in the next three games. A loss would do just the opposite likely needing the Cougars to go 3-0 against Baylor, Virginia and Washington State. Even that may not be good enough to get the Cougars into the Top 25 until they play USC in the final week of the season.

It is appearing that BYU Football is in a great position to beat Arizona and Arizona State. If the Cougars are able to also beat Utah and take care of South Florida and Utah State, this game would have national attention and put the spotlight right back in the middle of the college football discussion.
