BYU Football will begin their final preparations for the 2021 Football season this week with the start of Fall Camp.

College Football officially begins this month. Although BYU won’t be playing until the first weekend of September, it is still nice to know that this month there will be actual games, including some good ones like UCLA vs Hawaii and Nebraska vs Illinois . While 2020 was wonderful for BYU Football, there was still some extent of a disconnect without crowds, Covid taking the headlines and a watered down schedule.

While there aren’t any games, for the first time since May, there will be live team practices (officially). But as the Cougars make their final preparations for the season over the next three and half weeks or so before the focus turns to Arizona, there are few areas that needs to be cleared up if the Cougars want to be successful.

Some keys to success are already pretty set, such as the running back position, special teams, and offensive and defensive schemes. However, others still have to be figured out.
