Conclusion

I want to emphasize again that just because a position group is not towards the top of this list does not mean I think they won’t be excellent. This team is looking very strong this year and quite honestly, positions towards the bottom of this list like the defensive line and secondary would have been in the top three if this group were to be placed on a team in recent past.

The biggest question for this upcoming season is to see how well the position groups work together. The running backs can be great, but if the offensive line can’t open up running lanes it won’t matter. If the linebackers are elite but the secondary gets beat deep every play their role will be minimized as well.

With so much talent and experience gone from last year, these position groups will have to gel together and trust each other to do their parts. If they can get to that point, watch out!
