BYU Football: Ranking the nine position groups
By Adam Gibby
4 – Quarterback
How much will the pressure of Zach Wilson affect the quarterbacks in 2021? BYU Football fans have gotten used to elite play so the complaints and criticism has the potential to be louder and stronger than ever. Honestly, last season Wilson had one of the top seasons ever in college football and expecting the same from Hall, Romney or Conover would be unrealistic.
How the quarterback responds to adversity will have an effect on the team that will make or break the season.
Hall and Romney have game experience, but the quarterbacks don’t have nearly as much as the player groups ahead of them. Also, neither one of them have played any valuable minutes in an actual game in nearly two years.
This group should be solid, and quite honestly doesn’t even have to be elite to win a lot of games.
