2 – Receivers

Normally when a team loses their top receiver from a year ago there is an expected drop in talent. When Dax Milne announced that he would be leaving BYU for the NFL, many fans felt that the receiver position would be decent, but not great with really only Gunner Romney and Neil Pau’u with quite a bit of game experience.

Then Samson and Puka Nacua decided to come home to Provo.

Suddenly, the wide receiver room is looking as deep as it has in all of Independence and much further back than that.

With those four players plus the progression of promising younger players like Chris Jackson, Keanu Hill and Chase Roberts the receiver room is deep, fast and talented.

Oh and did we mention that the tight ends and running backs are all great receivers as well meaning that the actual receivers will be in one on one matchups all the time.

Really the only question that remains is how they will be able to share time and all be utilized the best way possible, a great problem to have.
