Washington State

Washington State sits in quiet eastern Washington and doesn’t seem to do too much. They are never in the headlines and they rarely do anything that is noteworthy on a national level. That being said, they can be sneaky and for the second time in 2020 the Cougars will get caught with a big deficit going into halftime that they won’t be able to overcome.

BYU won’t lose this game because of looking ahead or celebrating the previous week’s win, rather this game will be lost due to injury. At this point in the season, the Cougars will have played six Power Fives, Boise State, and two other G5 programs. The reality is, there are going to be guys hurting and without a bye week until week 11, it will affect the Cougars.
