Quarterback

Quarterback: Jaren Hall, Baylor Romney, Jacob Conover

The depth chart was announced yesterday by Aaron Roderick after the trio of Hall, Romney and Conover battled it out in practice every single day in spring and fall camp. Roderick says that all three are dual-threat, however of the three Hall is the most mobile.

The coaches also recognized that the battle will continue on the field and while there are not any ‘leashes’ on the players, if one plays better than another, they will be playing. While that doesn’t mean that Hall will be pulled after one interception, it does open up the possibility that Roderick may see a QB playing at a low level and decide that at the time being someone else could play at a higher level, not to replace permanently, but for the game perhaps.
