Why does Stanford keep showing up? It seems like every year the Cougars and Cardinal are scheduled to play! While 2028 wouldn’t be too difficult to navigate with only one game needing to be dropped, the game to get dropped is difficult, unless of course Houston is in the Big 12 at this time. Heck, by 2028 we may be in Super Conferences and the whole schedule will be crazy.

For the sake of argument however, Houston is the game that gets dropped. This would be their end of the home and home that was played in Houston in 2020 and so the Cougars may not mind having not to have return the trip and it may not even be a game that BYU would have to buyout.
