There are no more ways for BYU to lose

This is going to be a very painful section to read, but here it goes… In the nine games that Utah has won, it seems like they have beaten the Cougars in every possible way.

2010: BYU has a FG blocked and Bradely has one of the worst fumble reviews go wrong.

2011: BYU is blown out 54-10 and probably plays their second worst game ever (2017 UMass)

2012: Blocked FG and then missed field goal

2014: Hail Mary falls short and is incomplete

2015: BYU has five turnovers in the first quarter falls behind 35-0. Cougars come back and fall a touchdown short.

2016: Taysom Hill gets stuffed one yard short on a two point conversion, Kai Nacua ejected for worst (okay second worst see Ole Miss) targeting call of all time.

2017: BYU has the ball down six with 1:45 left in the game.

2018: Cougars are up 27-7 with 16 minutes left and find a way to lose

2019: Utah fields probably their best team ever and runs away (literally) early.

Granted, there are definite scenarios that BYU can still lose this game, but quiet honestly, it feels like eventually a kick won’t get blocked, a bad call won’t go against BYU, or the two point conversion will be successful. I can’t think of any other ways that BYU can lose, so naturally BYU has to win now right?
