BYU Football is ranked No. 13 in the current AP Top 25.

If you know anything about me it is probably that I love BYU Football and hate preseason rankings. Everything else about me is not as important.

Earlier this year, I made argument after argument about the fact that preseason rankings should not be a thing. The rankings are nothing more than a popularity contest of a bunch of blue bloods and by week four things fall apart.

I was right. Again.

Going into week five of the season, 12 of the 25 teams who started in the AP Top 25 are no longer ranked, and let’s be honest, it should be 13 with Clemson.

So that fixed the problem right? Well, not completely.
