2012

2012 was the year that we started to see Hill play. In his first couple of games he was impressive first as a gadget red zone player, but later as a legit starting candidate. Six games into the season, the Cougars were starting to hit their stride being 4-2 overall with Hill starting to take a majority of the snaps. Late in the game against Utah State he got hit and was out for the season.

Later that year, the Cougars would end up losing close games to San Jose State and Notre Dame. BYU likely would have beaten the Irish with Hill’s running ability as Notre Dame only managed to put up 17 points against the Cougar defense. That’s right, in 2012 the Cougars would have likely gone to South Bend and took down Notre Dame.

Instead of finishing 8-5, the Cougars likely finish 10-3 and ranked.
