BYU Football: Should BYU keep playing Utah State?
By Adam Gibby
2014
This is the one that hurts. With the Cougars already 4-0 and past the toughest part of their schedule, the Cougars had a real chance to finish undefeated or with one loss. Even with a loss, with wins against Texas, Virginia and California, the Cougars may have been headed to a NY6.
Of course we all know that Hill was once again injured and the Cougars would end up losing the next four games. Looking at the scores of those games, the only one that may have been in doubt with Hill still behind center would have been UCF who put up 55 points against the Cougars.
2014 will forever be one of the biggest “what if” seasons.
