2016

Of all the season ending injuries, this may be the one with the least amount of consequence. In 2016, the Cougars were once again rolling having won five of their last six games. It was late in the game and BYU already had the game well in hand when Taysom decided to give the home crowd one more highlight to cheer for.

In an ill-advised leap, Hill landed on his wrist/forearm and was out for the rest of the game and bowl game. The Cougars ended up winning the bowl game anyway, so the only thing fans are left wondering is whether or not there would have been a bit more of a competition for quarterback the next season without Mangum having that win to back him up.
