2021

We don’t know what is going to happen yet after Baylor Romney suffered what appeared to be a concussion. While a single concussion doesn’t tend to lead to season ending injuries, a loss to Boise State would derail BYU’s season, at least in the sense of hoping to make it to a New Year Six Bowl.

Again, this is all hypothetical. Nobody knows if Hill would have been injured anyways later in the year or if Hall would have suffered a concussion regardless of who the opponent is. However, when a single team injures a team’s quarterback six out of nine seasons, one has to wonder where things could have gone, and consider whether playing them in the future is worth the risk, whether it is a freak accident (six times) or not.
