BYU Offense vs Boise State Defense

The Broncos rank as one of the worst rushing defenses in the country. BYU on the other hand has one of the best running backs in the country with Tyler Allgeier. While it can’t be expected that Allgeier can carry the entire load for the team, he may be able to do enough himself to open up the pass game for the less experienced Jacob Conover, who I believe will be playing.

Boise State’s secondary is decent, however, if Allgeier and Katoa can pick up chunk yards on first and second down, the secondary will be forced to sneak and commit to run opening up receivers like Romney, Nacua and Rex.

Either way, as long as Allgeier stays healthy, this offense shouldn’t have any issue at all moving the ball down the field and scoring a bunch of points.
