BYU Defense vs Boise State Offense

Hank Bachmeier would have led the Bronco’s to a convincing win in 2020 had he played last year. In all seriousness though, Bachmeier is a really talented quarterback and has the potential to slice through the BYU secondary if the defensive front can’t force him out of the pocket. Bachmeier isn’t the best quarterback the Cougars have faced this year, but he may be a close second behind Arizona State’s QB Jayden Daniels.

BSU’s rushing attack is average, but BYU’s defensive front has been well above average. While the passing game may open up running lanes a bit for the Bronco’s, the Cougars should be in control of the line of scrimmage and limit the running backs from going off for 15 yard+ runs.
