8-0. . Sooners . 5. team. 815.

Oklahoma in many ways is just like Notre Dame except without a loss. The Sooners have not been the dominant 50 points per game kind of team that they have been in the past, but they continue to find ways to win.

Historically, the committee has not cared how a team has one in a P5 conference, rather just that they win, which is what Oklahoma is doing.

. 7-1. . Buckeyes . 4. team. 812

But Ohio State lost to Oregon!? That excuse is getting so old and annoying. First, Ohio State clearly has the better loss. Second, since losing Ohio State has looked like a top five team, whereas Oregon has been waddling through games just trying to get the “W”.

Ohio State still hasn’t played the toughest part of their schedule, but with big wins over Penn State and a massive win against Maryland, this is not the same team that lost earlier this season. I fully expect the committee to give in a large way a pass for the week one loss.
