No. 15 BYU

BYU Football has one job and one job only. Win big. There are times to take the foot off the accelerator when in a game against bad competition, and this is not one of those times. The nation saw the kind of respect that teams get who play G5 opponents every week. UTSA, Houston and SMU aren’t even ranked.

BYU needs to treat these next two games against Idaho State and Georgia Southern as if they need to win by 60 points. The Cougars’ 66 points against Virginia popped off the page, and while the AP and CFP polls are different, to go from 25 in the AP to 15 in the CFP in one week is pretty amazing and that score mattered.

It honestly may take scores like 70-7 to get the approval from the committee.
