9. Orange Bowl – Michigan vs Georgia

Time and Channel: December 31st, 7:30 PM EST on ESPN

Michigan has been one of the great stories of the season. Whether you like Harbaugh or not (or his recruiting missionary strategy), the fact that Michigan went from unranked to making the Playoff is extraordinary.

Georgia on the other side has their own great season, albeit a bit dampened down after the SEC Championship. The Bulldogs did not allow more than 17 points in a single regular season game.

It is anyone’s guess as to how this game will shake out with two dominant defenses matching up while also caring the weight of proving the critics wrong. For Georgia it is another potential chance against Alabama. For Michigan it’s officially crowning themselves the king of the Big 10.
