7. Rose Bowl – Utah vs Ohio State

Time and Channel: January 1st, 5:30 PM EST on ABC

Go Buckeyes! I admit that I made the mistake earlier this season on saying that fans should root for Utah to beat Oregon to “help BYU”. What I didn’t anticipate, which I should have, was the the CFP Committee would rank the Utes higher than BYU in the final rankings despite a worse record and head to head loss to the Cougars.

Utah doesn’t match up great with Ohio State, however Oregon did beat them, and we all know what Utah did to Oregon, so who knows what will happen. Utah is the only team in the NY6 with three losses, however they did finish their season on a 9-1 run.
