4.  LA Bowl – Utah State vs Oregon State

Time and Channel: December 18th, 7:30 PM EST on ABC

We never got to see Utah State take on Utah this season, but Utah did take on Oregon State and lost. While I’m not normally a fan of transitive wins, Utah State could have a fun argument as being the second best team in the state if they take down the Beavers in Los Angeles. If nothing else, it would create an interesting conversation for fans all over the state to debate whether the order of bowl games was actually backwards to who deserved which bowl.

Aside from this small side story, this game should actually be really good. Both the Beavers and Aggies have games that they looked extortionary in, while also having games that left fans scratching their heads wondering what the heck just happened. This should be a very good high scoring game as both teams are ranked in the Top 40 in scoring offense while also struggling on defense.
